I am sorry that my e-mail has delayed. It is so much work here and not enough time.
Answering for your first query about donations from Romanians I have to tell that we are totally depending on foreign donations. You might just imagine how difficult it is to get people understand why we are helping straydogs instead of local people.
And then the second issue. There are many other romanian associations, who have 20-30 dogs
(as much as we have at home) in shelters and have time to stay on the Internet, sending long messages and appeals worldwide. Although we have all this animals to take care of, and many other activities, we loose a lot because of the lack of time and not being able to do public relations. We do our best to make as many photos as possible to all that happen here and hope that people around the world would find us. And this is why your support is so important to us.
Shortly, on Saturday was a meeting in Bucharest of almost all the organizations for animal protection who are setting up a National Federation. My father was elected the representative for the relation with the authorities. I will tell you more about it when I have a little bit more time to write.
We know that the new shelter will cost a lot and it will be impossible to build it all suddenly, but we can start by making some kennels at the beginning and the building for the clinic, recuperation, warehouse etc. I do think that little by little, in time, with support of foreign animl lovers we will be able to buid this shelter.

the news shelter.
