PAFi’s successful promotion days were held in shopping centre in Itäkeskus Helsinki and we collected funds of 1,500 euros selling lottery tickets and our products. In addition we got plenty of donations from kind persons. Atmosphere during promotion days was great and our work was warmly welcomed by audience.

In Tg-Jiu authorities of city hall and police have strengthened their co-operation with Pro Animals Romania. They want to spread information about the Neuter & Return programme to citizens and are very keen to help with education programme as well. The aim is to deliver brochures of these programmes to every home in Tg-Jiu city. Local newspapers have also written many articles of Neuter & Return programme as well as other activities of Pro Animals Romania.

The education booklet for schools is ready now to be printed and first we take 200 copies of it here in Finland. In future it might be possible that City Hall of Tg-Jiu will provide the costs of printing of booklet.

The therapy dog programme with old people continues it’s media interest. The idea of therapy dog programme with old people did have a very perfect timing and have given a lot of power to Pro Animals Romania with it’s activities in public.

The representative of Brigitte Bardot foundation will visit the shelter of Tg-Jiu before Christmas. BB foundation will check every shelter they help with food donations because they probably are going to reduce the amount of donations in Romania. Let’s hope that they do not cut their food donations to the shelter of Tg-Jiu. BB foundation have donated during several years ¼ of the total amount of food needed in the shelter.

Carmena has bought straws to the kennels of the shelter because cold winter days are coming and many dogs have skin problems and do not have warm fur protecting them. Donations for medicines are very welcomed now.
