PAFi did introduce
it’s actions at Faunatar Ideapark on Saturday 3.3. PAFi’s
representatives this time were Niina and her daughter Petunia, Sanna
and Virpi.
During the day it was very
obvious that people think very positive that PAFi has a co-operation
association in Romania which have done animal protection work already
several years and have been talking about the importance of neuter
& spay programme from the beginning. The local willingness has been
there before PAFi started to support Pro Animals Romania and that is
the most important thing in our work.
Carmena has been in Bucharest on Friday having her first examines for the doctorate degree of animal protection matters.
Patricia has travelled today to England where will be held the
International course of school education and maintenance of modern
shelter organized by Dog Trust.
The
representative of CIWF – advancing farm animal welfare have visited in
Tg-Jiu and Pro Animals Romania during this weekend. The representatives
of CIWF met Patricia in Austria last autumn where was held the European
animal conference and they were impressed of Patricia’s presentation.
Hopefully CIWF could give also some support to Pro Animals Romania in
future. Patricia will send more information about the visit after
return from England.
Education programme
in schools of Tg-Jiu have continued several weeks now and school
children have been extremely active and keen of this programme. Pro
Animals Romania has ordered more booklets (500 pieces) to cover next
school classes. Presents for school children have also ordered (pencil
cases, badges, stickers) and will be given as soon as the course have
been finished class by class.
Patricia has
made brochures concerning the Neuter & Release programme and the
importance of neuter and spay also pets to be distributed all homes in
Tg-Jiu and edition of 25,000 pieces have already printed.
PAFi has March campaign for supporting the Neuter & Release
programme in Tg-Jiu and challenged all those persons who share the same
idea than we concerning the importance of neuter and spay homeless dogs
and cats.. The board of PAFi has promised to donate 1,000 euros during
March-May to the programme.
You are welcome to join and forward the challenge.
With best regards,
Kiia
