I was talking with my mother, and we decided that if the city hall will give us an official eviction paper concerning the shelter, that has maybe no turning back , we will start a big campaign  against this mayor and the City Hall.

For years, we didnt have the courage to make this, only write small texts about stray dogs situation added in protests letters, but that was all, we didnt ask animal lovers or organizations to protests against this mayor,  only because we were afraid, because staying in their shelter we couldnt do this. But, now if they will do such thing, to force us go, we will start this campaign.

This morning we saw on Tv, that in Brasov city, where has a shelter Mrs. Cristina Lapis ( i think I have told you about her, she is WSPA member), , the municipality started to kill this morning all the 600 dogs that were in the municipal shelter because no one adopted them. The poor puppies and other dogs, were waving their tails when they saw the reporters, as if trying to get attention, to be taken from there. It were horrible images.

Also, today was the first trial of Bosquito. It was announced in all mass media. It is the first trial involving a dog, it is a premiere. But, it is good, because like this, people can hear and see that animal rights are not a dream and that people are fighting for it. many hear for the first time about animal rights, about the international and national laws. It is a start and we hope this trail be in favor of the dog.

My mother talked with the director of sanitary veterinary direction and as I have told you last time, the director looked so cooperant.

But, when my mother was asking him if he talked at the city hall about demolish of the shelter, he was avoiding the subject. He was talking about the other cities where we have closed the contracts of N&R, about mayors etc. But, my mother was very insistent about Tg-Jiu. So, he finally told that  the technical director of the city hall said only for the press that the shelter will be demolished. Just that people can hear and to leave them alone ( because many epople come at the city hall and complain about the shelter, that is near their houses and it is a big noise, or it smells etc etc).

The director also told that if the city hall want us to move they are obliged to give us a land,  because we have been working so hard for many years, that we make a work in the use of the community etc etc etc. He was telling nice words on and on.

So, all very ambiguu, nothing clear. My mother told him that he should tell the mayor that if they would such a thing, to get us out of their shelter, until we have our own shelter ready, we will make a big scandal all over, in the national but espcially in the international press.

At the shelter, again we have snow. when the weather got warmer, and we thought that spring will come, it snowed again.

My mother is upset about the employees, as she caught them stealing. They stole from the expired aliments ( that were brought by a lady who has a food store) but also from the dry food ( that they probably sell).

We dont know what to do. They all steal. We now found out that he stole all the woods that we have near the shelter for making cages, but also other things. They all steal anything, cant trust them at all. I think that no matter how much money we would give them, they continue to steal.

Your idea with the protests in front of the Embasies is very good. If they see that people react directly also, not only by emails or letters, they must do something. 

Someone told us that she found out from the municipality's cathers that last week they abandoned the dogs caught, at several tens of km of Tg-Jiu, in a forest near a Hunting area.
